Earlier this week I did a post on fixing up my fire pit with spray paint. It got me thinking about summer nights and s’mores! I’m a marshmallow fan! Those fluffy little white things are just so easy to pop in your mouth for a quick and easy sweet fixin’.
I started thinking about some alternate ways to make s’mores and came up with a few new options. All are extremely good and won’t disappoint.
While perusing the cookie isle, I came across these little suckers, Keebler Fudge Shoppe Deluxe Grahams. I’m sure I’m not the first to discover these little delightful treats, or this idea, but one of the great things about it is it cuts down on your ingredients.
1 large marshmellow
Two crispy Keebler Fudge Shoppe Deluxe Grahams.
Heat your marshmellow on a skewer over fire, and slap between the cookies – mange!
Okay, who doesn’t secretly love Teddy Grahams? I do, I do! So, this was a home run for me. I came up with these with my kiddos in mind, but these were so good, that I think I may have eaten more of them. Typical!
What you’ll need:
Enjoy Life Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips Gluten, Dairy, Nut, and Soy Free Mini Chips (I’ve yet to find anything as good as these)
1) Heat chips in a bowl for about 30 seconds. Remove and stir. Put back in the microwave for anther 25 seconds till the chips are melted.
2) Add the marshmellows, then add the Teddy Grahams (do not stir). Let sit for a minute or two.
3) Stir until the chocolate is evenly distributed.
4) Scoop out by the teaspoon and put on wax or parchment paper. Let cool and sit until the chocolate has hardened.
These are even better the next day with some nice cold milk!
Okay, are you ready for the best s’more of your life??? This is the grand finale of s’mores! This came to us several years ago one chilly night as we sat around a bonfire in Big Bear, California. Earlier in the day we got on this topic of whether the large Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups were better than the mini’s. That started a blind taste test. Once the decision was made, the large one’s won, we were left with lots of PB cups! What to do with them (shrug)? We stuck them between two crispy graham crackers and a sticky hot marshmellow. OMG! This was heaven! Just ask Dawn!
